“A Sunday well-spent brings a week of content.”
That is one of my favorite quotes! I have found it so important to truly use Sundays wisely, whether that means spending time with loved ones, doing something adventurous, or staying home doing laundry. As long as you use Sunday in a way that fills your heart, the week will feel that much easier. At some point on Sunday, after you spend the day doing whatever your heart desired, it is important to sit down for some quiet “YOU” time- some time to plan out the week ahead and think about some of the below items:
1. What is your schedule this week looking like? Any appointments after work?
2. Meals for the week- plan out what you will be eating for breakfast, lunch, & dinner that week.
3. Pick out your outfits for the week.
I always try to set aside time to rest regardless of what I do during the day. For me, I need some quiet time to get grounded and prepare for the work week ahead. Without that, I begin the week on the wrong footing. If you don’t already do that, give it a shot! See how different the week feels once you’re ready to tackle it head-on!What works for you?
